HOUSE ON THE HILL

On the hills surrounding Vicenza, a contemporary residence is designed for a young family. The building sits on sloping terrain facing the valley, in a landscape setting with a delicate yet highly evocative presence.

The project is defined by the inclined roof planes which, following the natural contours of the context, describe and create unprecedented living spaces with visual continuity between interior and exterior, thanks to the large windows that characterize the building volume. The roof, whose external profile visually tapers, creates large perimeter overhangs that add depth to the facades.
